Did You Know?

Being a tech guy, I follow much more than just political or news blogs. I get feeds from a wide variety of tech blogs, one of which is J.P. Boodhoo. He has a great blog if you are a programmer/developer type.

Hat tip to JP for this video. It demonstrates quite well just how fast-paced the world we live in actually has become.

The revolution is at hand. Will you be a leader or a follower?

  1. What does it mean?? Knowledge is power. Power is growing exponentially. Power corrupts. The power of the corruption of man in knowledge is growing exponentially. Knowledge produced the nuclear bomb.

All of these powers that we have created in knowledge have created the capacity for mutually assured destruction.

A little knowledge is a dangerous thing. A lot of knowledge growing exponentially... in the hands of a human race plagued by man's inhumanity to man and the drive for global domination?? Well, global domination will become increasingly feasible by the few over the many. I can't see the "positives" that knowledge will produce as of greater significance of the power of knowledge that will be created to advance evil - because my view of man is that man is evil. We don't want power in the hands of the few. But knowledge is going to place incredible global power in the hands of the few. Whatever. Good thing I know God is in control.

    Daniel 12:4 (King James Version)

4But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased.

To me, the increase of knowledge - even if I didn't have a Bible or wasn't even a Christian - would tell me that the human race will destroy itself. Power corrupts. Absolute power corrupts absolutely. Knowledge is power. I think the increase of knowledge will end up putting absolute power in absolute corruption in, absolutely, the wrong hands.

In other words, "Murphy's law" will go into full effect. :)
