American Heroism Once Again

The mainstream media (MSM) has been intent these last few years on making the war in Iraq and Afghanistan seem as futile as possible. Every story carried with it a sense of pessimism and demoralization that I know has had a negative effect on America's perception of what is going on.

I have stated before, that if there had been fair coverage, President Bush's approval rating would be much higher and for sure Americans would be eagerly supporting the war effort. Propaganda can have a strong effect to the positive or negative.

A few posts back I put out some links to video showing the reunions of soldiers and their kids. It was tear-jerking to say the least. My heart swelled at the visions of love and emotion displayed on my screen.

Once again, my fellow Americans overseas engaging the enemy did not disappoint me in their efforts. Far and away the most decorated battle was just recognized upon the 3rd Battalion, 3rd Special Forces Group, who stood strong with their Afghan comrades, against an estimated 200 enemy combatants.

You can read the store here. Or, if you don't like Fox news, the same story was run on Military.com.

Below are a few more Special Forces links you may like.
